Momentum Business Designs (“MBD”) Privacy Policy
Purpose
MBD respects the privacy of our clients, our team members, and others. This document is our firm’s policy on collecting, using, and disclosing personal information. MBD has developed policies and procedures to maintain personal information’s security, confidentiality, and privacy. Our policies comply with the provincial legislation (Alberta Information Protection Act). “Personal Information” – Refers to information about an identifiable individual, but does not include the name, job title or business address and business telephone number of an individual. Anything that might appear on a business card or can be found through publicly available information would not be considered personal information.
MBD Privacy Policy
Our priority is to keep personal information secure and in strict confidence for our clients, team members, suppliers, and contractors. Our privacy policy adheres to the ten principles of privacy as set out by the Canadian Standards Association’s Privacy Principles.
1. Accountability
MBD is accountable for all personal information in its possession or control, including any personal information disclosed to third parties for processing or other administrative functions, and for professional standards purposes.

The collection of personal information will be limited to that which is required by MBD to perform its professional services and operate its business. Such information will be collected by fair and lawful means.

Personal information will not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with the consent of the individual or as required or permitted by applicable law, rules, or regulations. Upon request, MBD will provide individuals with personal information under its control and information on its use and disclosure. An individual may verify the accuracy and completeness of their information and may request that it be amended if appropriate.
